SHOWROOM COLLECTION
This 2004 Honda Dream 50R is a track-only motorcycle that was acquired by us in 2022, and it is said to have remained on static display from new. We are the 2nd owners and the bike previously lived on display in a previous owners kitchen. The bike is equipped with a 49cc DOHC four-stroke single paired with a six-speed transmission and is finished in silver over a black frame. Features include a black tank strap, a racing seat, a front number plate, a black-finished dual exhaust, 18" wire-spoke wheels, and front and rear disc brakes.
Honda Racing Corporation produced 440 Dream 50Rs in 2004 as a tribute to the 1962 RC110. This example is equipped with a front racing number plate, a black vinyl seat, a side stand, and silver bodywork consisting of an aluminum front fender, a seat cowl, a chain guard, and a low-profile fuel tank featuring a black strap and pinstripes.
Wire-spoke 18? wheels are wrapped in 2.50? Bridgestone Battlax BT-39SS tires. Showa suspension consists of a telescopic fork as well as twin shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is handled by hydraulic discs with cross-drilled rotors at both ends.
Clip-on handlebars frame an 18k-rpm tachometer. No odometer is present, and total mileage is unknown.
The 49cc single produced seven horsepower at 13,500 rpm when new and features an HRC crankshaft, low-friction cam chain, AC generator, camshafts, and valve springs as well as a 20mm Keihin carburetor and a dual exhaust.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed close-ratio transmission and a drive chain.
