Similar to a trike, a sidecar will use a front rake to ease the effort in steering the unit. The installation involving the replacement of the steering head and replacing it with a greater rake angle is the same as a trike.

As you will see, the optional equipment for these units will vary by the size of the sidecar, type of bike, and driver preference. A larger bike and sidecar will use options like a front rake, electric lean adjustment, side entry step, and the list goes on.
